KCVLAA is a nonprofit organization that provides legal and accounting assistance to qualifying artists and arts organizations from all creative disciplines. Their ArtsSmarts program provides seminars in arts law to help artists avoid common pitfalls in their professional arts careers.

UMKC Entrepreneurial Legal Clinic
At the UMKC Entrepreneurial Legal Services Clinic, students from the UMKC School of Law help new entrepreneurs obtain the legal and business services they could not otherwise afford.
